Strategic Plan

The Wisconsin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board approved a five-year strategic plan with a primary goal of preventing first time occurrences of child maltreatment.  The strategic plan has four primary strategies with several key initiatives identified to advance the Board's mission and vision. 

2015 - 2019 Strategies

  • Create and advocate for effective prevention public policies
  • Promote evidence-informed practices and develop innovative programs that support parents and caregivers
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to leverage resources and implement prevention initiatives
  • Educate professionals and community members on child abuse and neglect issues
